Everglades National Park Birding Tour: HAWKS, BUTEOS etc.

During the fall and winter months Everglades National Park becomes the winter home to innumerable species of hawks, buteos and other raptors; and many can be seen perched high on branches lining the mangrove shores or in prairies leading into the park as their keen eye sight lets them find prey making the slightest movement. As you drive in or out of the Park you might see Northern Harriers, Red Shouldered Hawks, Peregrine Falcons, Kestrels and many other raptors. Once we hit the water, we might see many more along the coastline.
